After a period of use windows, there must got some unnecessary items in the right click context menu. Here are the manual way to clean it up:

  1. Run "regedit"
  2. You can find most of the context menu items used for both files and folders list below:
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\*\shell
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\ShellEx
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
    • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
  3. Find the items you want to remove. You can just delete them, if you won't regret(miss) or you already backed up. The way I recommend is: Add a string value "LegacyDisable" into the item you want to disable that if you want to restore the item you can easily just delete the string value "LegacyDisable" you've added.
  4. Go to See your right click context menu, check it.
